It is a beautiful 3 hour drive to Parry Sound from Toronto, especially the last half of the journey through the lakes and forest. Parry Sound is a town with 6000 in the winter and serves upwards of 60,000 in the summer. The conference is based out of the beautiful Charles W. Stockey Centre on the waterfront. Killbear Provincial Park (photos below) is wonderful place to camp and visit– as it is directly on Georgian Bay about 30 kms north of the town. Please see the Ontario Parks website for more information on the park.
