Note 1: If you need a VISA to enter Canada, you must apply early. We provide a personal letter of invitation after you have registered and submitted your abstract. Applying for the Canadian VISA in January is recommended. Please note - we very strongly recommend applying for the VISA as soon as you can and please use recorded delivery or courier to be able to track your application. (see bottom of page for more info.)
Note 2: to keep our costs (and therefore the Registration costs) to a minimum, we must pass on the extra costs of additions after initial registration (please plan before registering) and cancellations – see comments below. Please consider all aspects of your registration before registering, so that you do not incur extra $10 charges.

Please note that the deadline for the reduced rates at the official CanBIC Conference Hotel is 10th April, 2025, and in addition, there are a limited number of rooms available elsewhere. Earlier reservation is recommended if you with to stay in the hotels served by the shuttle bus. There are a number of other hotels, B & Bs and cottages in Parry Sound and parking is free at the hotels and at the Stockey Centre. Parry Sound is very small and most accommodations are within a 20 minute pleasant walk. The CanBIC bus circles Parry Sound starting at the Parry Sound Inn and Suites in the morning and evening so other accommodations may be on its route.
*We may be able to offer a further $90 discount in the form of a no-charge Banquet Ticket at the conference to a limited number of students/PDFs who wish to assist with 3 half-days – on the Info desk/or symposium support – Please contact Martin Stillman for more details and to see if there are any vacancies. - CanBIC Coach - The meeting place on Tuesday 20th May, 2025 will be a hotel close by the airport reached using a free airport-hotel shuttle (TBA) at 17:00 pm currently.
- CanBIC Coach - The drop-off on the 24th May 2025 will be the Pearson airport (YYZ) Departures at about 12:00 noon - BUT we advise you do not book flights that depart earlier than 14:30.

In the event of cancellations, please also inform the secretariat that your paper is being withdrawn, including the authors to avoid mistakes (canbic@uwo.ca).
