abstract submission information
CLOSED WILL OPEN IN MID-JANUARY 2025
Deadline for abstract submission:
Speakers: Deadline 16th March, 2025.
Posters: Deadline 6th April, 2025 - or until full (we have space for 52 posters).
STUDENT S9 SYMPOSIUM REQUESTS: DEADLINE 14TH FEB. 2025
Requests for oral presentation slots for students - we have a limited number and each request is made on the abstract submission form. All requests will be reviewed by the Program Committee. Including reference to published or submitted (confirmed by supervisor) is a necessary condition.
Abstracts must be submitted electronically through email. (If you have difficulties please write to us at canbic@uwo.ca with "Abstract Question" in the subject line). The presenting author must register first and obtain a confirmation code (make sure you make a copy as you register and/or keep the email.)
Each participant may submit an abstract for just one paper either a talk or a poster but not both. Those presenting posters can only be the presenting author on one poster. Please note - this is very important: all presenters much register and provide their unique Confirmation Code when submitting their abstract. The presenter's name should be the first in the list of authors. The Confirmation Code is on the email you receive immediately following registration.
Please note - only one abstract per participant using the unique Conformation Code from the Registration emailed Receipt. A 3-day registration is required to present a talk or a poster.
You must have your CONFIRMATION CODE available - sent to your by email when you registered - if you register on line with a credit card this will be in the e-mail message returned to you immediately. If you register with payment by cheque there will be delays. We are finding that university cheques are taking weeks to arrive. You will not receive your CONFIRMATION CODE and receipt until the cheque arrives. Please register as early as possible to leave time before the Abstract deadlines.
*You must enter something on every line.
